Beany’s Favourites – Romanus by Mary Calmes

Okay so this is one of my absolute favourite stories EVER!!! I remember getting it when it first came out and then again when it was re released with the new cover. I kept bugging Mary soooo much for a sequel! In fact, I have a recording of when she was on a blog radio episode and we could ask questions so I messaged Vic (Vicktor Alexander) with a question – when is the sequel to Romanus coming out? I even told him not to say my name and from the question alone Mary knew it was me. That’s how much I nagged! LOL

But finally, Chevalier was released. Not only do I have ebook versions, this is one of the few print books I own (it’s so pretty!)

Of course, as soon as I read it I started bugging her for the third book. Really, we need a third installment!

So here are all of the links for Romanus, Chevalier and the combined print version.

Fireman Mason James thought finding out he is a Romanus—a rare class of gargoyle—would be the surprise of a lifetime, but he’s proven wrong when he discovers he is the son of a comte and goji nobility. But his newly discovered family doesn’t think his gargoyle lover, Luc, is good enough for a goji of Mason’s stature—how could a warrior ever be? But despite the Moreaus’ uncertainty and elitism, they are Mason’s only chance to unravel the mystery behind his mother’s death, find a solution for the class divide that might separate him from Luc, and discover what it truly means to be a Romanus.
